Private project competition by invitation, single-stage, anonymous procedure with five architectural firms and landscape architects.

The urban structure of Glattpark is based on the perimeter block and is continued by the new ensemble of buildings. The 58 metre high building and the seven-storey terraced buildings form a coherent figure with a large courtyard space in the middle. Most of the ground floors are used for commercial purposes, while the upper floors contain flats with 1.5 to 4.5 rooms. One exception is the noisy wing of the building along Thurgauerstrasse, which has a flexible design and can contain offices or business flats. A shell of light-coloured, glass fibre-reinforced concrete elements gives the development a uniform, light appearance.
