The Sky high-rise has 150 rental apartments, most of which have two, three or four bedrooms. The residents are mainly families and senior citizens. The foyer lies between the two commercial premises on the ground floor and links the southern point of access to the Am Stadtrand development with Chästrägerweg at the northern end. The building’s façades are made up of individual sections that vary in texture, alternating between flat Eternit and undulating elements that interlock to create the overall effect. Slender metal pilaster strips hold the surfaces together and echo the structure of the building.
