Urban planning vision for the historic town center.

Planning 2016-2018

This site is located on busy Seestrasse in the centre of Erlenbach. The existing buildings between the historic town centre in the north and residential areas in the south form a heterogeneous conglomerate. The test plan seeks to supplement the current public spaces by adding apartments and integrating them into a cohesive urban plan. The plan adopts the alignment of the historic houses along the Erlenbach, while also envisioning large-scale buildings to match the scale of the new construction projects in the south. Buildings positioned diagonally with respect to Seestrasse and a continuation of the series of small squares typical of the place lend the town-centre complex an open feel.
